Flint Creek Orchard in West Point grows apples and strawberries, about 11 minutes from Lafayette. Apple season runs from late August into November, with pick-your-own apples and a stand of fall produce.

How are u-pick apples priced?

Pick your own apples are $5 for a 5-pound bag and $10 for a 10-pound bag, and the farm supplies the bags.

Which apples are ready right now?

In its late September update, Fuji were plentiful and Liberty was picking well, while Pixie Crunch, Macoun, Golden Delicious and Shizuka were running low. Honey, winter squash, orange and white pumpkins and gourds were also for sale.
