Strites' Orchard

Strites' Orchard is a family farm market and bakery on Strites Road outside Harrisburg, farmed by the Strite family for generations. An early spring freeze hit the apple crop, so there is no apple picking this fall, but the market and the pumpkin patch are open.

Can we pick our own apples?

Not this season. The freeze left too few apples for u-pick, but the market is selling New York-grown apples instead. The farm runs a u-pick pumpkin patch, and posts its u-pick updates on Facebook and Instagram.

When is the market open?

Monday through Friday 8 AM to 7 PM, Saturday 8 AM to 5 PM and Sunday 11 AM to 4 PM.

Is there a bakery?

Yes. The bakery sells breads, muffins and whoopie pies, and you can place a bakery order ahead through the farm's online store.
