Haus Cider Mill

Haus Orchard and Cider Mill on West Calla Road in Canfield has been family run since Matt and Edith Haus started it in 1954. Its farm market is in a 100-year-old barn, and it still presses cider on a restored 1940 press.

When is it open?

Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM, and closed on Sundays. The market is seasonal, from May through December.

Can the kids watch the cider being made?

That is a long tradition here. The press starts for apple season in September, and families come to watch the apples being squeezed into juice.

What is for sale in the fall?

From mid-September the market has pumpkins, mums, apples, fresh cider and the farm's own sauerkraut. Call (330) 533-5305 to check what is in.
