Home / Verhage Farms - Kalamazoo, Michigan Fall Activities
VerHage Fruit Farms and Cider Mill on West ML Avenue outside Kalamazoo runs a farm market and bakery at the mill. In the fall the market is open every day from 9 AM to 6 PM, with hours changing in November and the season running until December 20.
What are the donuts like and what do they cost?
Fresh donuts are made daily. They are $2.50 each, $9 for a half dozen and $14 for a dozen, with lower per-donut prices on larger orders.
Should we bring cash?
It helps. Card payments carry a 3% surcharge, and the farm notes its internet is slow for card processing, so cash is faster and cheaper.
What else is in the market?
Homemade pies and other seasonal baked goods, caramel apples, the farm's own apple cider vinegar pressed from its fall cider, local honey and maple syrup, eggs and Michigan-made products.
