Home / Uncle John's Cider Mill - St Johns, Michigan Fall Activities

Uncle John's Cider Mill on US-127 north of St. Johns is a family cider mill set in a converted cattle barn, where you can watch cider being made. This fall the retail stores are open every day from 9 AM to 7 PM.
What can we eat and drink there?
The cider mill sells fresh cider, Uncle John's donuts, homemade caramel apples and, on chilly days, hot spiced cider. The Pie Barn adds homemade bread, pies, decorated donuts, monster cookies, apple bread and cider slushies.
Is the cider pressed every day?
No. Cider is pressed only on some days, so call (989) 224-3686 if you want to watch the press. The barn is staffed Friday through Sunday, but fresh cider and donuts are sold every day the farm is open.
Is there anything for the grown-ups?
Yes. The Taproom, open Thursday through Sunday, pours the farm's own hard cider by the flight and also serves wine. The gift shop, also open Thursday through Sunday, carries Michigan gifts, toys, books and seasonal decor.
