Phillips Orchards & Cider Mill

Phillips Orchards & Cider Mill in St. Johns has been grown by the same family for more than 170 years. In the fall the orchard opens on weekends for u-pick and fresh-pressed cider.

When is the St. Johns orchard open?

Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 6 PM during September and October. It is closed Monday through Friday.

How do we get out to the trees?

The orchard offers horse-drawn wagon rides for u-pick.

What is special about the cider?

It is pressed the old-fashioned way on a rack and cloth press, and sold with donuts. The family also runs a cider bar in Lansing and a pizzeria in Maple Rapids, so make sure you head to St. Johns for the orchard.
