Doud Orchards

Doud Orchards on State Road 19 in Denver has grown apples since 1894 and is one of the oldest orchards in Indiana. Its vintage barn store is open seven days a week from 11 AM to 6 PM this fall.

Can we pick our own apples?

No. The orchard says it does not currently offer u-pick apples. The apples are sold already picked in the barn store.

What is special about the cider?

It is pressed on site from many apple varieties, including rare heritage apples, and sold unpasteurized. The store is also known for its apple cider slushies.

When are baked goods available?

Baked goods are sold on Saturdays and Sundays. The store also carries homemade jams and apple butter, local honey, maple syrup and popcorn.
