Home / Kurtz Produce - New Haven, Indiana Fall Activities
Kurtz Produce is a family farm on State Road 37 in New Haven that many locals still call the Kurtz Pumpkin Patch. The fall market opened for 2026 on Saturday, September 12, and the corn maze and u-pick pumpkin patch run daily through Saturday, October 31.
What hours do the maze and pumpkin patch keep?
Daily from 1 to 6 PM, rain or shine. The market itself is open Monday through Saturday 8 AM to 7 PM and Sunday noon to 6 PM, so a morning stop works for pumpkins but not the maze.
Is the corn maze okay for little kids and strollers?
The 19-acre maze is medium difficulty and takes about 20 to 30 minutes. Expect muddy spots and rough ground, and leave the stroller in the car unless it has larger wheels. Kids can hunt for scavenger items along the way for a chance at a free giant pumpkin.
What do pumpkins cost?
Jack-o'-lantern pumpkins run $3 to $12 depending on size, minis are $0.50, and the huge display pumpkins go from $20 to $75 and up. Straw bales and bundles of corn shocks are $6 each.
Is there anything scarier for older kids?
On select nights the corn maze turns into an after-dark scare maze with some interesting characters. It is aimed at thrill seekers, so it is not the visit for young children.
