Home / Goebel Farms - Evansville, Indiana Fall Activities

Goebel Farms is a family farm just north of Evansville that has grown pumpkins for more than 50 years. In the fall it runs hayrides to its u-pick pumpkin patch on weekends, from the end of September through the last weekend in October.
How much is the hayride?
On weekends it is $15 a person and on October weekdays it is $12, with children under 3 free. The ticket covers the ride to the patch, the barn slide, the corn maze and a pumpkin or gourd you pick yourself. Tickets bought at the farm are for a set ride time.
Can we come on a weekday?
In October, yes. Weekday hayrides leave at 4 and 5 PM, and during fall break they run Monday through Friday from 10 AM, with the last ride at 5 PM.
What else will the kids do?
There is a slide, tunnel and ropes inside the nearly 100-year-old barn, a free grain bin to play in like a sandbox, a petting zoo with goats, a pony and a donkey, and barrel rides on weekends. The corn maze alone is $5, and kids who find all nine question stations can enter a drawing for a large pumpkin or a wreath.
Can we bring the dog?
No. Pets are not allowed at the farm. Apple cider slushies are sold on site.
