Buxton's Garden Farm is a family farm and flower shop on County Road 725 E near Sullivan. Fall is its busiest time, with hayrides, a corn maze and a farm stand full of pumpkins, mums and apple cider from the last week of September through October 31.
What are the fall hours?
Monday through Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday 1 to 5 PM. The corn maze is only open during those daytime business hours.
What will the kids do?
Besides the hayrides and corn maze, there is the Jump-Jump, an inflatable bouncy pillow, plus yard games and pumpkin decorating. Kettle corn is sold on site.
Can we host a party there?
Yes. The farm rents its land for birthday parties, youth group gatherings, family picnics and cookouts. In winter it sells live Christmas trees and wreaths. Call (217) 728-7993.
