Mariah's Mums & More is a working flower and produce farm 8 miles east of Clinton off Route 10, known for growing the largest variety of fall mums in Illinois. In the fall it also has a u-pick pumpkin patch with more than 100 varieties of pumpkins, squash and gourds.
When is it open this fall?
Thursday through Sunday, 10 AM to 5 PM, through the end of October. It is closed Monday through Wednesday, but it is open on Columbus Day, Monday, October 12.
How does the pumpkin patch work?
Grab a wagon and clippers and head into the field to cut your own. If picking is not your thing, pre-picked pumpkins, winter squash and gourds are sold in the farm market.
When is it busiest?
Saturdays, from opening until just past lunchtime. Mums typically sell through the first weekend of October, so check ahead if you are coming for them.
Is there food, and can we bring the dog?
Food concessions run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in September and October. Pets are not allowed because of food safety rules, though service animals are welcome. The farm takes cash and contactless cards.
